Tim Visser
Tim Visser

Recording & mixing engineer / producer / musician / owner

Musician / songwriter who worked himself into a bachelor in Sound Design, but then the academy forgot to put him on the list so he started recording himself. Figured Sociology would help him ordering chaos, but ended up in a recording studio after all, managing social processes by not doing so much and letting things happen. Famous for his random quotes, the best possibly being ‘I’d like to give chance a chance’.

Good for recording bands and ensembles, vocalists, mixing, advise, and helping you along the way in music production.

Ahmad Mansour
Ahmad Mansour

Recording & mixing engineer / FOH / musician / manager

Whoever said Gen Z-ers are lazy hasn’t had the pleasure of getting to know Ahmad. The first intern in years that actually made it as an assistant engineer, while still studying at the Herman Brood academy. A heart of gold combined with the cuddliness of a Syrian sand cat and the work ethic of a horse, he’s the person every studio needs. Excellent in engineering your session and gifted with a great ear for sound and a sharp eye for your needs. Highly recommended as a live engineer.

Loves to work with Middle Eastern music, punk 90’s alternative and emo core bands.

Toni Goranova
Toni Goranova

Intern music production / musician / social media manager

We didn’t knew we needed Toni until she set foot in the studio. Her ability to organize projects and de-clutter creative processes is bliss to a place where ideas and cables can often flow all too freely.

Studying Art of Sound at the Conservatory of The Hague she specializes in working at your side with Ableton Live producing songs.

Great vocalist and piano player

Remko Schouten
Remko Schouten

Recording, mixing & mastering engineer, FOH

Travelled across the globe as Pavement’s FOH for almost 20 years in the epicentre of the alternative 90’s and sharing that cultural experience ever since in IJland Studio. Likes to track sessions as fast as he edits and mixes them. Skilled in enhancing recordings or restoring audio with his precision tools. A mix of your work by Remko will be quickly done and satisfying, taking it to another level. In 2024 he opened Studio Zarzalico in the south of Spain on 28 acres of sweet nothingness, where being remote is actually still possible, under the comfort of tapas, cheap beer and sweaty siestas.

Cas Geven
Cas Geven

Intern from Herman Brood Academy that was being brought in by Ahmad. Workhorse engineer that has the rare ability to work hard and bring calm to the room. We hope he never leaves.
